Easter holidays are here and I’m going to have a school trip to France. We are leaving tomorrow. We are going to stay in Paris for a day and visit the Louvre. If the weather is fine and it doesn’t rain, we’ll have a walk in one of the beautiful parks of the French capital. I’ll write to you a postcard from France.

Hi, Yura!
I’m writing to you from Bonn which is cold and wet. Paris was wonderful. I’ll never forget it. It was so hot and sunny that we wanted to lie in the sun, but didn’t. The parks of Paris are really great. The Louvre was not bad but I’m not fond of picture galleries. Most of all I enjoyed going to the Eiffel Tower. I took some pictures of Paris. If they come out all right, I’ll send you some.
Bonn is fairly interesting with its old cathedrals, but it looks so grey in the rain. We all miss the sunshine we had in Paris. I hope the weather will change soon.

Brussels

Hello!
It is the last day of our trip. We are coming back to London tomorrow. The sun is shining brightly again and everybody is happier than in Germany. Brussels is a busy place. Most of all we liked the Brussels cakes which we had in an open−air café. Tonight we’re going to see a football match between Belgium and Scotland. We’ll shout for Scotland. If it wins, we’ll have a party and have cakes and Coke. I’m really enjoying travelling. I think it’s my favourite pastime.
